This 500+ square mile lake is up to 90 feet deep, and is surronded by beautiful old growth boreal forest. The lake is adorned with many islands each supporting it's own wildlife; two of which are wildlife refuges. Fish thrive in good numbers in it's clean, cool waters. The forest is alive with many species of wildlife, so whether you hunt with a rifle or camera, many opportunites await. Our lodge is ideally situated on Michel Point reaching 10 miles out into Doré. Whether you drive-in or fly-in, we know you'll enjoy your stay with us at Michel Lodge.
Driving-in
We have an airstrip that is within 10 miles of the lodge. The airstrip is a 3000 foot long turf strip.
