Michel Lodge on Doré Lake offers great whitetail, black bear and grouse hunting. Our deer and bear populations are very good with many opportunities for a trophy. Michel Lodge is located near the end of a scenic peninsula giving great access to all hunting areas that encompass Doré's old growth mixed forest. Hunters here can enjoy great success along Highway 924, from the junction to La Ronge turnoff, to Michel Lodge as this 20+ mile road can be hunted. It is not a game corridor. This gives young and old alike a better chance to harvest that deer, bear or grouse. For the more capable hunter, there are miles of trapper's trails, old burn roads and clear cut areas. Choose your mode of transportation; be it snowmobiling, walking, or quadding, you can do it all at Doré Lake.
